Today I did some rebus puzzles. I found them pretty easy.

Today we did fake news for the cybersmart challange. We had to make up a breaking news story and put it in the template. I photoshoped a alien into my image of the NYC Puplic Libary. Can you find the alien???

Today we learned to add and subtract fractions with related denomimators. First we did a refresh on what we learned last week. Then we learned how to add two fractions. After that we did two on our own.

On Tuesday we did parts of speech. These were the activities we did. First we had to match the word with the parts of speech. Then we labeled some of the word with the parts of speach.

On Monday we did some word work we needed to pick two activites and I chose a word search and pyramid write. First I did the word pyramids. All we had to do was type out our spelling word and then it made a pyrimid. Next I did the word seach. I did it in a table but then I realised that there was a link that you could put your words into and it would generate it for you.

Task Discription: Today for maths we were in the hall to do probability games. We had three games to start with, water bottle flipping,greedy pig and a card game.  But first we played a game called blocko where we had a table on a piece of paper and 11 little blocks. We had to arrange them on our piece of paper. Then Mr Herlihy rolled two dice and called out the number. Next we removed one of the blocks from that number column. The aim of the game was to be the first to get all of the blocks off our paper.

To practice our inferencing we were given there inference task cards. All we had to do was read the text and answer the questions. It was fun. Hope you enjoy!

Yestaday we learned about prefixes and suffixes. A prefix is used at the begining of a root word and a suffix is used and the end of a root word.
